Experience with integration monitoring tools and error handling.
Familiarity with identity management integrations (e.g., Azure AD, Okta).
Experience in enterprise and global implementations.
Roles & responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of complex Workday integrations, with a strong emphasis on Workday Studio-based solutions. Build and maintain advanced Workday Studio integrations involving:
• Complex data orchestration
• Custom XSLT transformations
• Error handling frameworks
• Multi-step and conditional integrations
Develop and support integrations using:
• Workday Studio
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB Inbound & Outbound)
• Core Connectors (Worker, Payroll, Benefits, Financials)
• Workday REST and SOAP APIs
Architect real-time, near-real-time, and batch integrations between Workday and external systems such as Payroll vendors, Benefits providers, Finance systems, IAM solutions, and third-party applications.
Create reusable Studio integration templates and frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability.
Perform detailed data mapping, validation, transformation, and enrichment using XML, XSLT, JSON, and Studio components.
Analyze and resolve complex integration issues by reviewing Studio logs, Workday integration events, and error messages.
Ensure integrations adhere to Workday security, authentication, encryption, and data privacy standards.
Support Workday bi-annual releases, assess impact, perform regression testing, and update Studio integrations as required.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including Studio design documents, interface specifications, mapping documents, and operational runbooks.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Workday Integration Developers and Analysts, including those working on Studio integrations.
- Act as the Workday Studio SME, providing architectural guidance and code reviews.
- Own the integration workstream across projects and enhancements, including estimation, planning, and delivery.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into robust Studio-based integration designs.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, provide regular status updates, and present technical solutions to senior leadership.
- Establish and enforce integration development standards, best practices, and governance.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000 a year
