Job Responsibilities:
Lead the enterprise AI portfolio, demand management, prioritization, and investment planning, maintaining a single source of truth for AI initiatives, value, risks, and dependencies. Drive enterprise-wide AI governance, funding, and value realization frameworks in partnership with Finance, Legal, Privacy, and business leaders. Oversee AI investment decisions, benefit tracking, ROI measurement, and portfolio performance to ensure sustainable business outcomes and scalable impact.
Establish governance forums and executive operating rhythms to align AI strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and organizational priorities. Ensure enterprise readiness and compliance with applicable healthcare, privacy, regulatory, and AI governance standards, including HIPAA, FDA, CLIA, CAP, HITRUST, NIST AI RMF, and EU AI Act. Develop executive and board-level reporting, translating complex AI initiatives into clear business value, risk, and progress narratives.
Lead the operating model for the AI organization, driving cross-functional collaboration, accountability, decision execution, and strategic program delivery. Own enterprise AI enablement, including AI tool governance, intake processes, adoption measurement, support models, and federated execution frameworks. Drive AI adoption, change management, and organizational capability building through champion networks, community engagement, and enterprise communications. Define and communicate the enterprise AI vision, strategy, and thought leadership agenda across employees, executives, customers, partners, analysts, and industry forums.
Partner with Corporate Communications, HR, Investor Relations, and business leaders to deliver a consistent and compelling AI narrative that strengthens organizational reputation and market leadership. Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief AI Officer (CAIO), supporting enterprise-wide transformation, investment decisions, executive reviews, and board engagements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 15 or more years of experience in technology, digital, AI, data, enterprise strategy, transformation, portfolio management, or operating-model leadership, including running operating rhythms, leadership reviews, planning cycles, and executive preparation. 10 or more years of experience running complex portfolios, prioritization processes, investment routines, funding gates, operating cadences, or transformation governance. 10 or more years of experience of demonstrated ability to move organizations from ambition to execution, adoption, and sustained value realization.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, MS, or an advanced degree in strategy, technology, engineering, finance, operations, or enterprise transformation 5 or more years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries. 5 or more years of experience building AI portfolios, governance models, or AI CoEs. 5 or more years of experience supporting C-suite executives and board-level engagements.
