We're looking for a strategic AI Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and rollout of our data and AI-driven products. This is a senior individual contributor role with a path toward director, focused on product strategy and stakeholder engagement rather than hands‑on engineering.
About the RoleYou'll manage a live roadmap of data and AI products, run pilots directly with business stakeholders and translate what you learn into the next iteration of the roadmap. A typical pilot might mean building a dashboard and insight tool backed by Snowflake, onboarding leadership to use it and give feedback, iterating, then rolling it out more broadly. For example, starting with one location and expanding to a dozen more.
Time is split 50% managing the existing product roadmap, 30% customer‑facing pilot and relationship work, and 20% tracking the evolving AI/vendor landscape (with heavier development‑phase weeks during active builds).
What You'll Do- Define product vision and maintain a prioritized roadmap for data and AI products
- Identify and prioritize AI/ML use cases across business domains and evaluate emerging technologies (LLMs, RAG, AI agents, predictive analytics)
- Lead vendor evaluations for AI platforms and tools, assessing build vs. buy trade-offs
- Design and run pilots with clear success criteria, KPIs, and go/no-go decisions
- Partner with engineering and data science teams to scope and deploy AI features into production
- Own the feedback loop for AI products, define metrics, monitor performance, and drive iterative improvement
- Bridge technical and business audiences, translating AI capability and limitations into clear business terms
- Present product updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- 4+ years of product management experience, ideally with data or AI-driven products
- Hands‑on experience managing AI/ML products, including LLM-powered applications or predictive analytics
- Experience with AI vendor evaluation and contract negotiation (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Databricks, Snowflake Cortex)
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts; NLP, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with senior business stakeholders
- Some travel expected for leadership/strategy sessions, typically a few days at a time, up to 3–4 times a year
