Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Capital Markets Data Analyst with 10+ years of experience in Capital Markets/Banking, SQL, data analysis, and business analysis
. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working on complex, multi-business and multi-system initiatives within an Agile environment.
- Perform detailed business and data analysis across complex Capital Markets initiatives.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Analyze business data and translate findings into actionable business requirements.
- Gather, document, manage, and validate requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop user stories, use cases, customer journey maps, and test scripts
. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, QA, and other technical teams.
- Support solution design and development activities for complex, multi-system initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage requirements and work items using JIRA
. - Perform data validation and support testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and data manipulation when required.
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Strong Capital Markets domain experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience in Data Analysis / Business Data Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with requirements gathering and management
- Experience creating user stories, use cases, and test scripts
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience with JIRA
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Banking / Financial Services domain experience
- Python for data analysis
- Experience with complex, multi-business and multi-system initiatives
- Product lifecycle development experience
