Associate General Counsel, Securities and Governance

We are pleased to announce that MLA has been exclusively retained by Pyxus International, Inc. to conduct a search for an Assistant General Counsel, Securities and Governance. This is a hybrid position that will sit in Pyxus International’s Research Triangle, NC office. This is our third search with Pyxus.

Pyxus International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel, Securities and Governance. The AGC will report to the Company's Chief Legal Officer and work closely with the Executive Team, Finance, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams to prepare SEC filings, and provide in-depth counsel on SEC compliance, corporate governance matters, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, and general corporate law. The role will also include managing outside counsel and supporting international governance efforts.

Additionally, the AGC will advise and play an integral role in the Company's compliance program.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five to ten (5-10) years of legal experience as a legal professional, experience at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel preparing and reviewing SEC filings and working on complex transactional and commercial matters and international issues.

Research Triangle, NC. Local candidates strongly preferred; however, relocation assistance may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Total Comp Package of $300,000 (Consisting of a $250,000 base salary + 20% bonus).
