Job Summary

We are immediately hiring a Supply Chain Ops Specialist to join our Ryder team in Concord, NC. The role offers a yearly salary of $55,000‑$60,000 plus benefits and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily shift goals and operational plans for the facility and work groups.
  • Lead and train hourly employees, SNEs, and other specialists; provide in‑depth training and continuous review of policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Make decision‑making for location activities including demand planning, supplier calls, and customer interactions.
  • Support and develop system and process training for employees.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned; may serve as a floater to support Supply Chain Ops Associate roles across multiple shifts.
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication with employees, peers, and management.
  • Strong organizational and follow‑up skills; advanced computer proficiency.
  • Self‑directed work style with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage individual performance and employee relations.
  • Sound judgment when information is incomplete or ambiguous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Intermediate experience with OSHA and DOT/Hazmat requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year or more in logistics, warehouse, or related field.
  • One (1) year or more of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in WMS, MHE, OSHA, and DOT/Hazmat.
  • No travel required.
