- Lead cross-functional projects across the business to effectively drive change in service, cost, and inventory.
- Develop and maintain operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand.
- Maintain relevant planning master data and support new product introduction and phase‑in/out material business processes, and associated change management processes.
- Provide a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making.
- Publish and present service and inventory metrics and results.
- Identify and lead projects that improve supply chain speed and inventory investment; review and report on project progress with management.
- Work closely with the business unit to understand customer requirements and forecasts.
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times.
- Actively manage working and non‑working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets.
- Utilize Supply Chain tools and processes such as SAP, EWM, Power BI.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve service, inventory turns, and non‑working inventory.
- Utilize Supply Chain parameter management tools to optimize planning parameters (safety stock, lot size, EOQ, Loop & Supermarket, lead time).
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Three years of experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, production, and/or customer service in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certification is preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt project experience and/or certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Experience with a Manufacturing Execution and/or Planning System (e.g., SAP, proprietary, Oracle, JDA, etc.).
- Experience in Lean Scheduling or Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with Microsoft VBA macros, SQL, MS Cloud Apps (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Power BI).

CompensationThe expected compensation range for this position is $84,595 - $103,394, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
