Management Preferences- Documented knowledge of case management practices, or supportive counseling techniques and/or interviewing techniques for intake assessments.
There was an update to the Salary Range Effective February 1, 2026. The new salary range is $37,377.00-$65,408.00.
Job DutiesReporting to the Correctional Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for a case load of offenders, with duties including but not limited to:
- Developing case plans, answering and following up on offender questions and problems, and making recommendations to the classification committee.
- Assisting in major dynamic programs or coordinating major or specialized programs for the rehabilitation of offenders, such as offender work assignments, work release, education, or recreation, as well as transition planning and coordinating.
- Planning and coordinating transition (re-entry) prior to parole or release into the community.

Work LocationDan River Prison Work Farm is in Blanch, NC. The facility sits on a 187.5-acre site in the north-central area of Caswell County and houses felon and misdemeanant minimum custody adult male offenders. Work assignments include food service, maintenance, janitorial and other institutional jobs. Other assignments include maintenance work at Caswell Correctional Center and the offender construction program.
Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The selected candidate will work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Hours may vary at times depending on the business needs of the facility.
