Insight Global is seeking a Director of Scheduling for one of our largest global real estate services clients. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting Life Science and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing programs, where you’ll drive scheduling strategy, mitigate risk, and influence project outcomes at scale.
What You’ll Do- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading scheduling strategy and ensuring project goals are met
- Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across complex, multi-phase projects
- Provide critical path analysis, schedule risk insights, and mitigation strategies to support decision-making
- Drive schedule reporting and analytics, including Progress updates, Variance analysis, Earned value tracking, Executive dashboards
- Partner with project teams, contractors, and consultants to validate schedules and ensure alignment to scope and execution plans
- Review and negotiate contractor schedules for compliance and best practices
- Identify and escalation schedule risks, delays, and potential claims exposure
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposals and identifying new opportunities
- Maintain active site engagement to validate progress and resolve execution challenges
- Lead and mentor scheduling staff, including resource planning and professional development
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certification preferred: PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, or similar
- 12+ years of scheduling / project controls experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Experience with Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences projects
- Advanced expertise in:
- Proven ability to influence project controls strategy and best practices at a program or business unit level
- Strong client-facing skills with experience advising executive stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly
- Deep understanding of construction lifecycle and integration with cost, risk, and change management
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Working knowledge of schedule analytics tools and Microsoft Office
