You review the spec sheet, set up the Bobst platen or Heidelberg cylinder press, and fine‑tune the make‑ready. As the first sheets run, you pull predetermined samples from each load, spot a minor misalignment, adjust, and keep production humming—all while meeting Snyder’s safety and quality standards.

• Production Leadership (≈80%):
  Make‑ready, set, and run die‑cutting equipment (Bobst platen and Heidelberg cylinder). Adjust settings and troubleshoot to achieve target quality.
• Tooling Precision (≈10%):
  Set up stripping tooling with a pin setting table.
• Data & Docs (≈5%):
  Enter production data and complete required forms.
• Caring for Equipment (≈5%):
  Clean machines and perform routine maintenance.

• Proven ability to operate die‑cutting machinery.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Intermediate English for reading instructions, writing notes, and communicating clearly.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and printing.
• Accurate measurement skills; able to read a ruler and work with units of measure.

• Defect detection during scheduled quality pulls from each load run.
• Root‑cause problem solving to keep output on spec.
• Application of printing, die‑cutting, and gluing knowledge to optimize results.
• Clear, professional communication across shifts and teams.

• Manual loading with lifting; climbing as needed during operation.
• Active, semi‑automatic machine work that’s both repetitive and varied.
• Requires strength and good eyesight.

General warehouse environment in a paperboard packaging facility. Expect reaching, bending, and lifting; ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

• Maintain operating and maintenance records for the machine.
• Submit maintenance requests when needed.
• Support additional tasks as requested by the supervisor and plant manager.
• Follow Snyder’s safety and quality standards consistently.
