Slitter Machine Operator – Concord, NC

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Night Shift) – 2‑2‑3 schedule rotation

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• An associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• 1 year of machine operation experience required.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to enter production data into the computer.
• Production line experience in manufacturing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to the machine operator's manual under the direction of the Group Leader.
• Carry and supply materials to the machines.
• Remove finished product from the machine; lift materials up to 38 lbs. about 75 times per shift (maximum weight 50 lbs.).
• Be cross‑trained to operate different machines as assigned by Group Leaders.
• Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity) and investigate causes of target frustration.
• Help train other machine operators.
• Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.
