As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes that improve productivity, reduce costs, and support a safe, high-quality production environment. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and production methods.
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and productivity.
- Support new product development by providing manufacturing expertise and process recommendations.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new equipment, tooling, and manufacturing technologies.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and engineering standards.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams on equipment installation and process implementation.
- Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.
- Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities to reduce labor, material, and manufacturing costs.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and support implementation activities.
- Develop, monitor, and report manufacturing KPIs to drive operational performance.
- sBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience)
- .3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
- .Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- .Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- .Experience with CAD software and ERP systems
- .Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance teams
- .Excellent communication and project management skills
- .Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus
- .Experience in metals, specialty materials, or advanced manufacturing environments is highly preferred
