What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- You'll be vital in ensuring production keeps moving. Your expertise will keep machines, systems, and processes running safely and efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using blueprints and schematics
- Maintain and repair boilers, chillers, and conveyor systems
- Install and adjust a variety of electrical equipment
- Use diagnostic tools and precision instruments to locate and solve issues
- Document work performed and support continuous improvement efforts
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience with industrial machine maintenance, repair, and diagnostics
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specs
- Skilled with multimeters, measurement gauges, and machine shop tools
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs (team lift for 50+ lbs), stoop, crawl, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to wear proper PPE at all times, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and approved footwear.
- Ability to complete Haz Woper training and respiratory medical clearance
