GPS is seeking general laborers for a food manufacturing facility. This position involves loading product into kettles, cleaning equipment, and packing finished products.
Key Responsibilities- Break, load, and stack 60 lb. boxes of frozen product into kettles.
- Sweep product from the platform and weigh the total amount swept.
- Wash platform, floor, and drain under the kettles after product is loaded.
- Help load chicken frames into baskets and dispose of pallets and tote boxes.
- Assist in sifter set‑up, residue barrels, and pallets.
- Clean kettles, pipe fittings, floor, steps, stands, and drain at the sink area and under the platform.
- Hand scooping of dry powdered goods.
- Pack/box finished product.
- Clean chicken cookers on Fridays.
- Use hoists to load and unload chicken cookers, rinsing with a hose as needed.
- General housekeeping and sanitation of the work area.
