Responsibilities

Eli Lilly is expanding its manufacturing capabilities through a new $1 billion state-of-the-art campus in Concord, North Carolina, focused on injectable medicines, device assembly, and packaging operations.

Operators play a key role in producing life-changing medications by operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting advanced manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated environment.

Senior and Lead Operators provide additional leadership by coordinating production activities, mentoring team members, and supporting operational problem-solving.

Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related technical environment.

Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.

Knowledge of or ability to work within GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulated environments.

Experience using electronic systems, including electronic batch records and manufacturing software.

Education, Experience, and Skills

We have several levels open for Operator which are based on the experience and education you bring.

Minimum education:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to effectively communicate (electronically, written and verbal) Flexibility - the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges Computer proficiency (desktop software, MS office). A valid driver s license Must pass a vision exam and be free of color blindness Must be equivalent to 20/20 correctable close vision acuity Time Commitments and Work Authorization Must Pass a "fitness for duty" physical exam In operation, must have the ability to work 6am to 6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule Ability to work overtime as required Ability to wear safety equipment (glasses, shoes, gloves, etc.)

Ability to work and gown in a cleanroom (Grade C, ISO
