Where You Will WorkThe Internal Progressive Unit (IPU) is a 28-bed Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Unit—often called a Step-Down Unit. We provide care for a wide range of conditions, including pulmonary, cardiac, renal, hematologic/oncologic, and gastrointestinal cases. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with the ICU and Rapid Response teams to learn and grow.
Expectations / Looking ForRegistered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure in an appropriate state. Minimum one year nursing experience preferred.
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
