Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive post-anesthesia care, monitoring patient vitals and responses to anesthesia
- Assess, plan, and implement quality nursing interventions for OB/GYN and reproductive endocrinology procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams and physicians to ensure smooth transitions from operating room to recovery
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, discharge planning, and recovery expectations
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
- Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient status or emergent situations
- 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM and 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM shifts available
- Active RN license and compliance with North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements
- Minimum one year of nursing experience in a PACU or similar critical care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Experience in reproductive endocrinology, OB/GYN, or surgical recovery preferred
- Exposure to cutting-edge reproductive medicine and OB/GYN surgical care
