Overview
The primary function of this position is as a staff nurse in all health department clinics. The program areas in which the nurse provides direct patient care include:
General Clinic, Immunizations, Family Planning, Maternal Health, Child Health, Intake, and as an Enhanced Role Nurse in STD clinic. This position also functions as the back-up to the Adult Day Health Specialist.
- Provide direct patient care in the program areas listed above as part of the health department clinics.
- Serve as back-up to the Adult Day Health Specialist as needed.
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience.
Special Qualifications DesiredA current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N.C. Board of Nursing.
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday / 8:00am – 5:00pm
