Job Description
Summary of Performance Expectations:
Provides age‑appropriate nursing care to patients as follows:
- Adult and Geriatric Medical‑Surgical Patients – Surgical, Medical, Telemetry, Cardiac Rehab, or Oncology
- Infant Patients – Level II Nursery
- Infant through Adult – Birthing Center
- Infant through Geriatric – Pediatrics, ED, Surgical Suite, Critical Care
- Adult and Geriatric Psychiatric Patients – Adult Psychiatry and Commitment Psychiatry
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State
- BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date
Specialty coursework in area of practice
Work Experience RequiredCCU, Telemetry, or equivalent experience required
Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date
