This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position to work in a temporary position.

Minimum

Education and Experience:

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.

• Provide professional nursing care and treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols.
• Develop nursing care plans based on diagnosis and pertinent medical information, patient and family needs such as conducting nursing assessments; developing, implementing and evaluating treatment plans; and providing patient care and education through case management.
