Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, Travel between Concord and Charlotte Locations required.
Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25
Where You Will WorkAtrium Health Neurology is located at 315 Medical Park Drive, Suite 202, in Concord, NC. We are a general neurology practice with specialty clinics embedded within our facility. Our Cognitive Program provides comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Services include disease management; nurse-led triage and advice via phone and the online patient portal; cognitive testing;
and additional care tailored to this patient population. Our clinic participates in the Medicare GUIDE program in North Carolina, which offers specialized dementia care management services to eligible Medicare patients. We provide initial consultations, follow-up visits, and virtual care.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1-year professional RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior Cognitive Nursing and Ambulatory Care Nursing Experience
- Triage responsibilities; manage care for patients enrolled in the GUIDE program
- Track patients receiving infusion treatments
- Administer in-depth cognitive testing
- Support other aspects of care for patients with cognitive disorders
The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ambulatory, outpatient, and Medical Group practice settings in accordance with policies and procedures under supervision. The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related responsibilities in a safe manner while maintaining clinical and professional competency as appropriate.
