Director, Inpatient Nursing (RN)

Nealy Pierce has been exclusively engaged by a well respected Leapfrog A rated, non-profit 200-bed community hospital in Eastern North Carolina to hire a new Director, Inpatient Nursing (RN). In this role you will manage:

• 38 bed Medical Surgical + 48 bed PCU
• 185+ teammates
• Well supported by 2 Nurse Managers + 2 Clinical Coordinators
• Reports directly to a dynamic and supportive Chief Nursing Officer

This is an excellent opportunity for either a current Director seeking a collaborative, mission-driven culture or an experienced Med/Surg Nurse Manager from a larger acute care hospital who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

• RN required
• BSN required;
  Master’s preferred
• 5+ years acute care nursing experience
• 3+ years Med/Surg nursing leadership experience
• Strong Med/Surg leadership background preferred in an acute care hospital setting
• Team oriented, collaborative leader who works well across all levels
