    Schedule:

    Full‑Time – 36 hrs weekly, 3 (12‑hr) shifts weekly. Weekend rotations.
  • Night Shift: 7 pm – 7 am.
  • Department:
    Inpatient Rehab.
  • Sign‑On Bonus: $10 000 sign‑on bonus eligible for qualified candidates.
  • Location:

    Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

What You’ll Need
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire.
How You’ll Impact Patient Care
  • Patient/Family Centered Care – Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate care, placing patients and families at the center of every decision. Conduct thorough assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan interventions, and coordinate care to promote optimal health and wellbeing in accordance with the policies of WFBH.
  • Patient Discharge & Referrals – Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning and refer to hospital and community resources as needed.
  • Safe, Therapeutic, and Healing Environment – Create a secure environment by safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring respectful, professional behavior. Embrace technology and equipment to enhance patient and staff safety.
  • Effective Communication – Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among the healthcare team, facilitating information sharing throughout the continuum of care. Active participation in our professional practice model and shared governance initiatives promotes teamwork, leadership, and clinical excellence.
  • Professional Growth and Accountability – Function effectively in a professional setting by actively participating in peer review, professional development, and adherence to care standards. Exhibit effective team skills, autonomous practice, and critical thinking, acknowledging accountability for actions.
  • Patient Advocacy – Act as a passionate advocate throughout the continuum of care, advocating for patients’ needs and preferences in all settings, including the community.
  • Care Management and Clinical Prioritization – Coordinate the delivery of patient care services by applying care management principles. Identify clinical priorities and initiate actions to continuously improve patient outcomes.
  • Promotion of Healthy Work Environment – Embrace and contribute to our professional practice model through active participation in shared governance, promoting a healthy and supportive work environment. Take personal responsibility for professional growth and development.
