Registered Nurse I (RN) – Medical & Cardiac Observation

Full‑time nursing position in the Medical Observation and Cardiac Observation units (23 and 10 beds respectively) at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a Level III trauma center.

Hours per week: 36.

Schedule:

FT 7P-7A, 3 days a week with weekend rotation.

Atrium Health Cabarrus, a 457‑bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program (not a new graduate).
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour.
