Key responsibilities of the RN – PCU – Travel include:
- Manage patients with acute respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and other complex diagnoses
- Monitor and adjust medication drips such as Heparin and Amiodarone
- Perform PIV starts, blood draws, and wound vac care
- Coordinate with CNAs and support staff for comprehensive patient care
- Adapt to various units as necessary, maintaining quality care across assignments
Requirements of the RN – PCU – Travel include:
- Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months of PCU experience
- Competency in Bipap, Optiflow, and medication drip management
