Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in supporting effective operations of the store.
  • Perform all Store Manager functions in absence:
    • Complete daily paperwork and accounting of all company funds.
    • Order and receive any goods or supplies needed.
    • Schedule and handle employee issues such as absences and tardiness.
    • Assist in ongoing training and discipline of all staff.
  • Prepare products for sales specials, price tag signs, and maintain merchandise displays and goods.
  • Respond to telephone calls and direct customer inquiries relating to store management promptly.
  • Maintain store facilities to produce high quality service/products at the lowest possible cost.
  • Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs.
  • Follow up and resolve all customer inquiries and/or complaints in a timely manner and advise the Store Manager at earliest opportunity.
  • Execute all employee responsibilities as needed, including assisting customers with selection of merchandise.
  • Perform store opening and closing duties as needed.
  • Assist the Store Manager to maintain a program for sound employee relations and safety.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior retail sales experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
