Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our team and drive sales performance in a fast-paced retail environment. The business is a women's clothing and accessories boutique. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for retail. As the Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the sales team and increasing the customer base as well as overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
• Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to ensure staff are equipped with necessary skills.
• Create & implement effective marketing strategies to promote products and increase store visibility.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, inventory control, and operational procedures.
• Engage in recruiting efforts to attract top talent for the retail team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
• Proven experience in leading, developing and inspiring a successful sales team.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in inventory management and merchandising.
• Proficient in using POS systems and retail software applications.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service excellence with strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for customer base development through networking, event planning & building community awareness.

Job Types: Full-time or Part-time (approx. 30 hours/week)
