Position: Post-Acute Wound Healing Specialist (Wilmington, NC)

Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Post‑Acute Wound Healing Specialist, you will serve as a consultative wound‑care expert and primary contact for post‑acute and transition‑of‑care decision makers. You will educate clinicians, drive adoption of Solventum solutions, expand therapy utilization, and ensure proper documentation for therapy authorization.

Responsibilities
  • Consult routinely with clinicians on safe and effective use of Solventum products.
  • Provide outpatient bedside support for product placement and dressing changes.
  • Deliver sustainable business growth through sales targets via account and territory management.
  • Identify and solve customer financial & clinical priorities.
  • Partner with prescribers to initiate therapy orders and secure required billing documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
  • Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions.
  • Persuade key stakeholders to champion proposed solutions and products.
  • Provide customer support and service.
  • Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of sales training program.
  • Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking.
  • Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
Driving Requirements

Use of a personal vehicle for company business is required. You must complete a pre‑hire motor vehicle record review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign‑off. Ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle history will occur.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience, or
  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Current, valid driver’s license.
  • Proven track record of sales quota & target attainment.
  • Prior wound care, medical device, or DME sales/clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers.
  • Proven experience in territory management & business planning.
  • Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
  • Understanding of the U.S. health insurance and reimbursement landscape.
  • Customer‑focused selling and closing skills.
  • Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
  • Completion of a formal sales training program.
  • Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
  • Outstanding data and analytical skills.
Additional Requirements

Entry into healthcare or third‑party facilities may require certain licenses, vaccinations, or other credentials. Solventum will share information as needed to comply with facility prerequisites.

Work Location & Travel

Remote (Wilmington, NC). Field‑based role with up to 20% overnight travel, varying by territory.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated compensation range: $126,400 – $173,800, including base pay and variable incentive pay (if eligible). Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, HSAs, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences, and retirement options.

May be authorized.
