Overview

Responsibilities- Design and implement incentive compensation plans for the sales organization.
- Optimize territory workload, sizing, and alignment to improve sales efficiency.
- Provide real‑time, data‑driven insights and recommendations to regional business directors and sales leaders.
- Build and maintain cross‑functional partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Medical, and other internal stakeholders.
- Lead communication of sales performance and plan metrics throughout the sales organization and at RTP UT Office Headquarters.
- Collaborate with sales leadership on business planning, objectives, and strategy development.
- Represent the sales force’s interests in key internal meetings and drive follow‑up actions.
- Partner with Business Insights and Forecasting senior management to develop, implement, and support operational consistency.
- Manage external vendors on sales force effectiveness (SFE) initiatives and projects.
- Introduce and embed new technologies (e.g., AI) to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of industry experience in management consulting, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of related experience (management consulting, pharmaceutical analytics, sales operations, or marketing).
- Strong knowledge of relational data and ability to translate technical requirements between stakeholders and developers.
- Proven analytical and strategic marketing skills, including experience interpreting data to create targeted presentations.
- Ability to independently generate complex reports and develop actionable insights.
- Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders and fostering collaboration across functions.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing business requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, , Veeva, and Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels, including senior executives.
- Experience working within matrix‑based teams and managing projects.
- Strong emotional intelligence, diplomacy, confidentiality, and organizational savvy.
- 5+ years of experience with rare/orphan diseases and a deep understanding of related therapeutic areas.
- 3+ years of people‑management experience.
Durham, NC – Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office.
