Description
The Territory Manager (TM) handles all aspects of sales activities for a sales force consisting of Independent Manufacturers Representatives (reps) that sell our products through distributors in multiple safety-related end-markets. TMs manage new and established Distributor accounts and are responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives with those accounts.

THE ROLE DOES:
- Directly manage the reps located throughout the territory to achieve goals
- Establish strategic objectives, sales strategies and standards for reps, and monitor the effectiveness of existing reps
- Provide reps with training, guidance and assistance to recruit and retain distributors, and provide after-sales support
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key personnel at distributor accounts
- Coordinate effectively with internal functions, including Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing regarding pricing, delivery, training, product manufacturing and availability
- Provide market feedback
- Represent the company at trade shows and association events
- Bring innovative thinking and problem solving to bear on customer issues
- Always act with highest ethical standards, in adherence with company principles and values
- 5+ years of Sales and/or Sales Management experience with industrial or safety products
- Be familiar with construction and industrial-related practices and procedures
- Technically astute with excellent presentation skills
- Aggressive and diligent attitude in meeting or exceeding goals
- Be highly ethical and a positive cultural addition
- Must reside in the South‑Eastern US area (GA, AL, FL) with ability to travel 50%+
