Role OverviewCloudera Sales empowers the world’s largest enterprises across every industry to use data to solve some of the most complex challenges that impact businesses, communities and lives. We have a platform that delivers Data and Analytics technology across on‑prem, public cloud, and hybrid models. As part of the Sales team, you will have autonomy to engage with leading enterprise customers, prospects and partners, foster long‑term, sustainable and mutually rewarding relationships, and transform a customer’s business.
Responsibilities- Own the overall account relationship, to drive net‑new revenue and ensure customer success.
- Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision‑makers, influencers.
- Align Cloudera domain products and service experts to key customer stakeholders, while maintaining account oversight.
- Lead large‑scale sales cycles and transactions.
- Meet regularly with the account to generate new demand and net‑new pipeline.
- Forecast the business, lead the internal team, and communicate key updates.
- Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription and cloud consumption.
- Minimum 10+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience selling to financial services vertical, in particular, with accounts such as American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover, Capital One, London Stock Exchange.
- AI proficiency and understanding of the impact AI will have on businesses.
- Experience in data management, analytics, engineering, warehousing.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, data infrastructure, public cloud infrastructure technology.
- Four‑year degree (Bachelor’s) from accredited university required.
