A2E is supporting a fast‑growing healthcare organization expanding its statewide presence across North Carolina. We are hiring a Hybrid Associate Territory Manager to drive new business development, manage existing accounts, and grow market share across multiple clinical product lines.

This is a field‑based medical sales role designed for a motivated, relationship‑driven professional who thrives in a high‑activity environment and enjoys building territory from the ground up.
Former Athletes Highly Encouraged

State of North Carolina (full statewide coverage) Frequent travel required, including overnight travel when necessary. Company vehicle provided.

This hybrid role blends new business development with established territory management across orthopedic bracing, workers’ compensation DME, OB pregnancy support products, and maternity care kits.

The weekly structure includes:

  • 2 days focused on new business development (workers’ comp DME, orthopedic bracing, OB products)
  • 3 days focused on managing and growing an existing orthopedic bracing territory (~$1.2M annual revenue)

Schedules may adjust based on provider availability, trade shows, product launches, and territory priorities.

New Business Development (2 Days/Week)

This portion of the role focuses on building new referral channels and expanding product adoption across workers’ compensation DME, orthopedic bracing, OB pregnancy support products, and maternity care kits.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop referral relationships with physicians, orthopedic clinics, OB/GYN practices, hospitals, urgent care centers, PT/rehab clinics, occupational medicine providers, and ancillary healthcare offices across North Carolina.
  • Drive workers’ compensation DME growth by becoming the preferred provider for injured worker cases, educating clinics on product availability, and ensuring staff understand ordering workflows.
  • Increase orthopedic bracing utilization by introducing bracing solutions for commercial, government, and workers’ comp patients.
  • Grow OB pregnancy support product adoption by presenting maternity kits, pregnancy support belts, compression products, and postpartum recovery solutions to OB/GYN practices.
  • Conduct in‑office product demonstrations including brace fitting, maternity kit walkthroughs, and clinical benefit explanations tailored to each provider’s patient population.
  • Educate physicians, PAs, NPs, office managers, referral coordinators, and clinical staff on product indications, reimbursement pathways, and patient outcomes.
  • Identify new business opportunities by mapping high‑volume clinics, analyzing referral patterns, and targeting offices with strong workers’ comp or orthopedic patient flow.
  • Maintain daily activity documentation including CRM entries, call notes, visit logs, and territory updates to support forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and educational events
    , supporting product launches and strengthening brand presence across the state.
Territory Management & Account Growth (3 Days/Week)

This portion of the role focuses on managing and expanding an established orthopedic bracing territory representing leading clinical product lines.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage an existing ~$1.2M orthopedic bracing territory
    , maintaining strong relationships with high‑volume orthopedic and sports medicine providers.
  • Increase market share within current accounts by identifying gaps in product usage, introducing new bracing solutions, and strengthening provider loyalty.
  • Represent leading orthopedic bracing manufacturers
    , ensuring providers understand product differentiation, clinical indications, and fitting techniques.
  • Conduct staff training sessions covering brace selection, fitting protocols, product benefits, and workflow optimization to improve patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
  • Introduce new products and clinical solutions as manufacturers release updated bracing systems, postoperative supports, or specialty devices.
