Business Development Manager

At Mangum’s Inc., we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service, industry expertise, and dependable partnerships with our customers. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about sales, customer relationships, and helping businesses succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Travel weekly to meet with new and current customers
- Build long-term relationships within the construction and transportation industries
- Work closely with operations, project management, and inside sales teams
- Assist customers with transportation solutions and problem solving
- Follow up on sales leads and help facilitate successful projects
- Maintain knowledge of transportation laws and industry requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Outside sales experience preferred, especially in specialized freight
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Knowledge of the local construction market
- Experience with CRM software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Social media and smartphone proficiency
