Immunoassay Sales Specialist

Position Summary

• Immunoassay Sales Specialist responsible for sales of automated immunoassay instruments and related consumables in the assigned Government/RTP East territory (NC, VA, WV, Washington DC, MD). Field-based; travel to customers ~75% of the time. Reside within the territory (preference for covered states).

• Achieve sales targets using consultative selling.
• Maintain and grow business in existing and new accounts.
• Coordinate with the Commercial Team to promote Bio-Techne solutions.
• Understand and communicate value proposition, features/benefits, competitive advantages, and applications.
• Forecast sales for instruments and reagents.
• Use  to manage leads, customers, and opportunities; track KPIs via dashboards.
• Plan and execute account management to meet goals.

• 5+ years’ experience in the Life Science tools space, with 2+ years selling in related markets.
• Immunoassay experience highly desirable.

• Interpersonal, presentation, and territory management skills.
• Technical knowledge of reagents, lab techniques/methods/equipment used in pharma/biologics R&D and production.
• Ability to engage customers on a technical level; strong written/verbal communication, negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving.
• Proficient listening/understanding/ questioning and translating needs into value propositions.
• MS Office/PowerPoint and  knowledge a plus.
• Independent self-starter; able to work in a team environment.
