Heavy Truck Technician

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks, dozers, loaders, excavators, and other construction equipment
• Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and suspensions
• Perform field service calls to complete on-site repairs with minimal downtime
• Use OEM diagnostic software and tools (Cummins Insite, CAT ET, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, John Deere Service Advisor, Allison DOC)
• Document work performed, parts used, and service outcomes
• Road test trucks and equipment to confirm repairs and compliance
• Collaborate with the parts and service team to ensure efficient workflows
• Follow all safety standards and company policies

• 3–5 years of experience in heavy truck or heavy equipment repair
• Strong diagnostic ability with OEM diagnostic software and electronic service tools
• CDL Class A or B license highly preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• OEM certifications (Freightliner, Western Star, CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, etc.) strongly preferred
