Shop Lead

Reports To:

Service Foreman

Reports to the service foreman and is responsible for the floor technical assistance for mechanics and repairs as directed by the service foreman.

• Follows all policies and procedures as specified in the company manuals
• Maintains high employee morale
• Attains short and long-term objectives with good management/planning
• Performs repairs as directed by the service foreman
• Assists mechanics in solving machine and component problems
• Determines parts requirements and outside materials requirements to complete repairs
• Completes all paperwork necessary to perform repairs
• Notifies service foreman upon completion of repairs

The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, holding high technical skills. This individual is also able to consistently repair components and equipment in line with dealer and manufacturer standards.

A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs.

• Strong mechanical skills
• Good communications skills
• Good, safe work habits

A good working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, and strong diagnostic skills.
