We are seeking a Rebar Fabricator to work in our indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment.
Job SummaryThe candidate will build rebar cages according to drawings, read blueprints, unload and stack steel, assist with crane operations, and perform other related tasks in a warehouse environment.
Job Responsibilities- Build rebar cages according to drawings provided – tools supplied by the company
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions
- Unload and stack prefabricated steel so that it can be lifted with slings
- Assist or perform crane operations for storing reinforcing steel
- Experience using rebar fabrication machinery a plus, but not required
- Work in a warehouse environment; all work performed indoors (no travel required)
- Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
