Full Time/hours: 40 hours / week

Union/Grade:
Teamsters / D-3

Salary Range: $25.62 - $31.26 per hour

The Town of Wayland seeks qualified candidates for a Medium Equipment Operator position with the Department of Public Works. This position performs a variety journeymen level tasks associated with the maintenance, repair and construction of DPW assets, including but not limited to:

• construct/maintain/repair of roads, streets and bridges
• set-up work zones with appropriate safety guidelines
• maintains/erects traffic markings, signs, and curbs
• constructs/maintains drainage systems
• plows/removes snow
• grounds work as necessary

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  At least two years of related experience in public works, maintenance work or grounds keeping work.
• Licenses/Certificates:
  Must have and maintain a valid Class B CDL license. Must have a valid Class 2B Hoisting License, 2A is preferred.
