Ellingson is hiring a Level II Field Mechanic to join their growing team. Ellingson is a stable, family values-based company that specializes in underground solutions throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire United States.

• Perform and train others on repairs and how to maintain all equipment and vehicles on job sites.
• Ability to diagnose and operate equipment.
• Maintain proper record keeping, open work orders for all repairs, and distribute workload as needed.

• Overnight travel will be required. Including some Weekends.
• Ability to work on both job sites and shop environments.
• Minimum of 5+ years related work experience on construction equipment.
• Ability to tear down and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, differentials/gear boxes, and undercarriage components.
• Must be capable of leading shop function on any given day including but not limited to personnel, parts ordering, diagnosing, quoting repairs etc.
• Ability to repair all types of construction equipment.
• Must have own comprehensive set of tools to complete mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge to lead a large variety of repairs
• Must be familiar with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting.
