We are searching for enthusiastic individuals to be a part of our dynamic team, for a full-time, year-round position. This position focuses on the Nags Head area and southern beaches.

At Sun Realty, we've been setting the standard in vacation rental houses for over 46 years, and now we're looking for dedicated individuals to help us maintain our exceptional homeowners’ investment properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the properties we represent remain in top-notch condition. From troubleshooting to repairs, you'll be the hero that keeps everything running smoothly.

• 2+ years of valuable experience in general maintenance
• Basic carpentry skills that showcase your craftsmanship
• A valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Basic knowledge of residential plumbing

• Drywall & finishing/texture experience a PLUS.
• Tools and equipment? You'll be using basic tools and your trusty company smartphone.
• Work environment? From outside weather conditions to tight spaces, stairs and ladders, you thrive in all situations.

• Flexibility is key! Be ready for weekend and holiday shifts.
• Overtime may be required occasionally, but your dedication will be rewarded.

Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

A valid, active NC driver license for a minimum of 3 years (clean MVR); the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone or similar electronic device.

Exposed to outside weather conditions, fast paced, physically strenuous; working in attics or crawl spaces; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.

Pay based on experience and proven ability, determined by Maintenance Manager.
