Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Concord, NC. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings, following all safety codes and regulations. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, running conduit and wiring, installing panels and controls, and performing routine inspections. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting system failures, and completing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
The Electrician will collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule and document all work performed accurately.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and electrical work, including wiring, circuitry, and safe work practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, with experience performing routine service and component replacement.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting abilities to diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to controls, panels, and system design.
- Relevant qualifications such as completion of an electrical apprenticeship or vocational training, and a valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Commitment to safety, including adherence to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Physical ability to perform on-site work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in various environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
