Cool Sys is seeking a Chiller Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC-R and chiller systems for construction and retrofit projects. In this field role, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control components while ensuring safety, code compliance, and energy-efficient operation. You'll interact directly with customers, coordinate with project and service teams, and document work performed.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial chiller and HVAC-R systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and performance testing on chillers and related equipment
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues using meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools
  • Document service work, parts used, and recommendations in work orders and service reports
  • Collaborate with dispatch, engineering, and customers to plan and complete service calls safely and on time
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and environmental regulations, including refrigerant handling
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and assist with on-the-job training
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and inventory in clean, safe, and operational condition

Required Skills
