Java Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
• Act as a seasoned technical resource, leading projects and directing activities related to special initiatives or operations.
• Manage project budgets where applicable.
• Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications.
• Responsible for technical knowledge and capabilities, working under minimal supervision.

• Minimum 7‑9 years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Red Hat Open Shift.

• Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture.
• Cloud‑native design and Domain‑Driven Design expertise.
• Container design and deployment strategy skills.

• 15+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Experience with modern tech stack (cloud, Open Shift, Kafka, Mongo
  
  DB / Cockroach
  
  DB).
• UML expertise.

• Architecting for high throughput, low latency, zero downtime, and zero data loss using a microservices architecture.
• Cloud‑native design and Domain‑Driven Design.
• Container design and deployment strategies.
