Opportunity to join a rapidly growing Fin Tech that is building sophisticated technology for the global Investment Management industry. Backed by significant funding and working alongside leading Hedge Fund partners, the company is solving complex engineering problems at scale and is investing heavily in the continued evolution of its core platform.
This is an opportunity for an intellectually curious C# Developer to join a high-calibre team where technical excellence is valued and engineers are trusted to influence architecture, design and product direction.
As a C# Developer you will design and develop business-critical backend services predominately using modern C# and .Net, working on distributed systems that process large volumes of data with demanding performance and reliability requirements. You'll be involved throughout the software lifecycle, from technical design and architecture through to implementation, optimisation and production delivery, collaborating closely with colleagues who share a passion for building elegant, robust software.
The environment is particularly well suited to engineers with strong computer science foundations who enjoy tackling challenging problems, debating technical approaches and continuously improving both systems and engineering practices.
Location:
You'll join colleagues in the new Columbus, Ohio office on a fulltime basis (Monday to Friday).
About you:
- You have achieved a GPA score of above 3.6, having studied at an Ivy League (or top 300 globally) university
- You have expertise with modern software development, C# .Net preferred - although there are also opportunities to cross train from another language or join the C++ / Rust team, Java / Calypso team or Python / Data teams
- You have a good knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems and engineering best practices
- You have a deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design and system design
- You have a collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for solving difficult technical problems
- You are a US citizen or hold a valid Green Card (no visa sponsorship available)
