Manager, Software Development Engineering

Role:
Manager of Software Engineering for Clinical Content Management Systems at Labcorp Genetics, leading development and maintenance of systems that support clinical content lifecycle and diagnostic reporting.

• build and mentor a cross-functional engineering team
• define and execute the technical roadmap
• collaborate with product, clinical, and reporting stakeholders
• oversee system design for content authoring, versioning, review, and publishing
• establish engineering standards and processes
• drive automation and AI/LLM integration

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years in technical leadership and team management
• strong expertise in Python, relational databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and front-end technologies

• advanced degrees (Master's/Ph.D.)
• experience with content management systems
• structured content formats (XML, DITA)
• regulated/healthcare environments
