Class A CDL Semi-Local Truck Driver

Operating Area & Logistics

• Operating States: NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, KY, and TN.

  Note:
  
  Trucks must remain parked at our Charlotte, NC distribution center during home time. Taking trucks home or taking a load home is not permitted.
• 2-3 days out at a time with 34-reset on weekends.

• Base Mileage Pay: $0.68 per mile
• Short-Haul Metro Load Pay:
  • 0–150 Total Miles: $132.50 per load + $25 per stop (excluding origin/final)
  • 151–310 Total Miles: $201.50 per load + $25 per stop (excluding origin/final)
• Drop & Stop Pay: $25.00 per stop (excluding origin and final destination)
• Detention Pay: $30.00 per hour (starts after 2 hours from scheduled appointment time)

• Experience: Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer driving experience.
• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Location: Must live within a commutable distance of Charlotte, NC to pick up/drop off equipment.
• Ability to work Saturdays as part of the weekly schedule.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and punctual delivery.
