Storeroom Attendant

Job Description

As a Storeroom Attendant at Rockwell Automation's customer on second shift, you will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role is Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with occasional weekends. You will report to the Storeroom Manager and work onsite in Vance, Alabama.

• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Provide delivery services as needed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

• 0+ year of experience in stocking and/or shipping and receiving
• SAP experience a plus as well as in cycle counting
• Experience driving a forklift
