Description

Modern Hyundai of Concord has an immediate opening for an Automotive Stock Clerk. Join the team of talented parts professionals at Modern Hyundai of Concord. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Check in stock orders and put parts in the correct BINS locations.
  • Pull technician orders and dispatch them to the shop.
  • Receive, reconcile, and locate shipments from outside vendors.
  • Obtain parts from local vendors as needed via Company vehicle.
  • Help with inventory management of current and new parts.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Parts Department
  • Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
  • Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
  • Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery
  • Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry
  • Unloads truck each night, returning all paperwork and undelivered parts.

Qualified candidates will be highly organized and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Applicants may be asked occasionally to lift to 70 lbs. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 1+ year experience with automotive parts preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task during peak demands
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
