Inventory Control Associate
Location:
Concord, NC (Onsite) Duration: 5 Months

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Overtime:
Up to 5 hours per week as needed
We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support warehouse inventory accuracy, returns processing, and driver check-in operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing returned products, verifying delivery documentation, and ensuring efficient inventory control within a cooler and freezer warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Check in drivers returning from delivery routes and verify returned products, invoices, pallets, totes, and other company assets.
- Review delivery paperwork and document missed deliveries, exceptions, and returns.
- Process returned products and determine appropriate disposition, restocking eligibility, and credits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and enter inventory transactions in a timely manner.
- Count, stage, and reconcile returned products and inventory discrepancies.
- Identify and communicate inventory issues that may impact operations or customer service.
- Process claims, credits, holds, physical inventories, and storage-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and inventory control procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of pallet jack and/or forklift experience.
- Strong inventory control, reconciliation, and recordkeeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Experience with warehouse inventory systems and inventory reconciliation.
- Experience in returns processing, logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations.
