We are looking for a new Receiving Supervisor to join our growing Inbound Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Inbound Manager and oversee daily receiving operations in the OH fulfillment center, managing a team of associates and working closely with onsite leaders to ensure shipments are accurately inspected, processed, and recorded. This role ensures inventory accuracy and timely product availability, directly supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: 530,000 sq. ft. in Columbus, OH at 6085 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43110
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM EST
Salary: $65,000–$81,000 per year
Please note:
Training for this position will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM EST for the first week!
- Oversee the daily functions of the receiving team to ensure all material is checked in and put away in its appropriate location in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow up on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase orders
- Record and check the quantity/quality of products received, and ensure the receiving area is clean, safe, orderly, and functioning properly
- Lead shift start‑up meetings and relay any staffing/volume concerns to the Inbound Manager
- Assign work to receiving associates
- Ensure POs are completed with the provided deadline
- Track performance of each team member and provide consistent feedback regularly along with check‑ins
- Ensure individual and departmental KPI success
- Conduct monthly check‑ins with each member of the receiving team in order to establish rapport and provide feedback
- Immediately address all personnel and performance‑related incidents that arise
- Execute all projects and process improvements assigned by the Inbound Manager
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently
- Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8–10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per day
- Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills; strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask and follow process and standard procedures
